Minchinbury Community Hospital has been supporting people with severe illness, injury and permanent disability. As a registered NDIS provider our purpose is to help you achieve your lifelong goals by providing quality personalised care solutions centered around your individual goals and NDIS plan.
How does the NDIS work?
The NDIS provides funding for reasonable and necessary supports to those under the age of 65 who suffer from a permanent impairment that has a substantial effect on their intellectual, cognitive, neurological, sensory, physical, psychological, and social functioning.
As the largest private teaching rehabilitation hospital in Australia, we are able to offer an extensive range of therapies for individuals with a disability. Our case managers will work closely with you to determine the best management plan for your clinical and lifestyle needs.
Our allied health services include:
- Exercise Physiology
- Occupational therapy – inclining but not limited to home modification
- Registered Nurses – wound management
- Speech Therapy
- Social Work
Do I need a referral?
Formal referrals are not required. Anyone including the client, family and carers, medical and health professionals may book an assessment at Minchinbury Community Hospital. Supporting medical information about your presenting condition is helpful as part of the assessment.
